Analytical Consultant, Large Customer Sales, Retail (Fixed Term Contract)

This role is a Fixed Term Contract lasting 14 months.
Note: By applying to this position you will have an opportunity to share your preferred working location from the following: Berlin, Germany; Frankfurt, Germany; Hamburg, Germany; Munich, Germany.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, or business development, or 2 years of experience in media/marketing analytics, strategy consulting, financial analysis, or equivalent analytical position.
  • Experience in data analysis (e.g., CBx, QLMs) and visualization (e.g. Google Sheets and Slides), scripting (e.g. SQL), and dashboard development (e.g. Looker Studio).
  • Experience translating data into automated narratives and business recommendations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in marketing analytics, return on investment/financial modeling, or statistical analysis.
  • Experience and ability to work closely with sales and cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders (internally and externally) across all levels.
  • Experience working as an Analytical Consultant or similar analytical, data-focused role.
  • Ability to take initiative and excellent strategic skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments with effective time-management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to communicate in English and German fluently, as this is a customer-facing role that requires interactions in German and English with local stakeholders.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

  • Conduct comprehensive bespoke data analyses based on complex and large data sets for key customers.
  • Consult with clients as a strategic consultant, clearly presenting data-driven insights and recommendations that align with their business goals.
  • Scale ideas and impactful narratives by streamlining processes and developing scalable templates, dashboards, and scripts.
  • Empower clients and partners by delivering commercial insights via custom analyses and reports and by creating internal dashboards and automated reports to democratize insights.
  • Work seamlessly with diverse teams and stakeholders to drive successful outcomes for clients.
