About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and versatile Comms & Event Management Assistant to join our dynamic team at Kiron. In this role, you’ll be responsible for assisting with communication materials and managing event logistics to support our team’s efforts in recruitment, partnerships, and community engagement. You will work closely with other team members and external stakeholders to contribute to Kiron’s mission to empower underserved communities through education.
Your Tasks
Communication & Social Media Support:
- Assist in the development of content for social media channels, websites, and communication materials that align with Kiron’s mission and goals.
- Support with organizing and managing internal and external knowledge resources related to communications, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible.
Event Planning & Coordination:
- Aid in planning and organizing various internal and external events, ensuring all logistical elements run smoothly.
- Assist with event promotion and outreach to ensure successful attendee engagement and event impact.
Recruitment & Outreach Support:
- Assist with organizing materials and campaigns for both online and offline recruitment efforts for Kiron’s programs.
- Help implement recruitment strategies to raise awareness and drive engagement.
Administrative Support:
- Organize meetings, prepare materials for presentations, and assist with documenting meeting minutes.
- Ensure internal documents, communications, and resources are properly organized and stored on shared platforms (e.g., Confluence/Drive).
Partner Communication:
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including potential partners, supporting collaborative efforts.
- Help coordinate between different teams and external partners for events, communication, and outreach.
Your Profile
Essential Experience:
- A background in communications, event management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in assisting with event planning or administrative tasks is advantageous, particularly within the non-profit sector.
Skills & Competencies:
- Ability to assist in creating engaging communication materials for diverse audiences.
- Proactive approach to organizing logistics for events and supporting team collaboration.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage communications across teams and stakeholders.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English (C2) and German (C2).
