Financial Controller and Accountant (m/f/d) - Video Game Localization

Transform your passion into profession and dive into the world of video game localization with us - one of the world’s top employers of this industry. To strengthen our Finance team in Berlin, we are looking for a Financial Controller and Accountant (m/f/d) to join us immediately.
YOUR ROLE.

  • Reviewing and processing all incoming and outgoing invoices.
  • Communicating with internal departments and external partners.
  • Ensuring daily routines such as payment receipt matching and account clarification.
  • Managing payments, including bank, cash, credit cards, and PayPal transactions.
  • Preparing the monthly and annual financial statements in collaboration with the tax office.
  • Reviewing the profit and loss statement (P&L) and the balance sheet (BS).
  • Serving as the first contact for tax accountants and authorities.
  • Clarifying issues in domestic and international business transactions.
  • Preparing and submitting statistical reports.
  • Monitoring outstanding items (dunning and receivables management).
  • Automating and implementing relevant systems and financial processes.
  • Restructuring accounting processes.
  • Independently conducting projects in the finance department.

Your profile

  • You are a numbers person with a university degree in business administration with a specialization in financial accounting or have successfully completed commercial training with additional qualification in financial accounting.
  • You have at least 2 years of experience in financial accounting.
  • You possess excellent German skills and good English skills.
  • You have strong IT skills in Windows, MS Office (especially Excel), and are familiar with Datev Unternehmen Online.
  • You have an analytical, independent, and structured working style.
  • You are motivated, detail-oriented, and flexible.
  • You have strong teamwork skills.
