Interzero is a leading environmental service provider specializing in closing product, material, and logistics loops, and is an innovation leader in plastics recycling with the largest sorting capacity in Europe. Operating under the principle of "zero waste solutions," Interzero advises around 20,000 customers across Europe on sustainable use of recyclable materials, enhancing their sustainability performance and conserving primary resources. With over 2,000 employees, the company generated sales exceeding one billion euros in 2021. In 2022, Interzero recycled 2.1 million tons of recyclables, saving 8.7 million tons of primary resources and approximately one million tons of GHG emissions-equivalent to the weight of 174,267 single-family homes and offsetting the emissions of 100,000 four-person households for a year.
Aufgaben
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership: Lead and support a 13-member HR team, fostering an inclusive environment that drives team success
- Empower the HR team to excel and contribute effectively as a modern manager
- Organizational & Personnel Development: Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company's zero waste solutions vision
- Drive change and organizational development with strategic foresight
- Implement sustainable development programs and measures for managers and employees
- HR Processes & Compliance: Enhance HR processes and ensure timely, compliant operations
- Oversee payroll and advance HR system digitization
- Serve as a solution-focused business partner to management
- Provide HR advisory and design relevant measures
- Monitor HR metrics and implement actions with leadership
- Talent Acquisition & Retention: Strengthen employer branding to attract top talent
- Ensure recruitment and retention of high-caliber talent
- Employee Relations & Labor Law: Deep knowledge of local and EU labor laws
- Maintain a collaborative relationship with employee representatives
- Develop results-driven solutions with employee representatives

Profil
Your Background and Profile:
- Degree in economics, law, social sciences, HR, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
- Over 10 years of management experience in a similar role within an innovative, entrepreneurial environment
- HR generalist with expertise in modern HR tools, processes, and IT systems
- Strong experience in change management and organizational development
- Results-driven, organized, adaptable, and proactive team player
- Excellent analytical skills with a focus on potential and solutions
- Skilled in leading and supporting teams through change
- Proficient in English for effective international collaboration
- Based in Cologne or Berlin, with travel flexibility for business needs
