Backed by $22 million in Series A funding, we’re expanding globally, partnering with major food industry leaders like Nestlé and Kaufland to help them reduce emissions along their supply chains, while making them more resilient and profitable at the same time. Since 2020, we’ve supported 3,500 farmers, covering 700,000 hectares (5% of Germany’s farmland!).

This is a new opportunity to shape the future of agriculture and climate solutions. As a Product Manager at Klim, you’ll lead the creation of our footprinting offering from the ground up, transforming how the food industry tackles scope-3 emissions reporting. Collaborating with diverse teams and leveraging cutting-edge technologies like data integration and remote sensing, you’ll deliver innovative solutions tailored to different markets and commodities while simplifying processes for farmers. Your mission
- Build Klim’s Footprinting Offering: Take our footprinting capabilities from concept to launch - 0 to 1.
- Simplify Scope-3 Reporting: Create market-leading solutions to address food industry challenges and streamline emissions reporting.
- Establish a Scalable Strategy: Design a long-term footprinting strategy for sustained success.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with product, commercial, regulatory, and farming experts to deliver tailored solutions for various markets and commodities.
- Harness Innovative Technology: Use technology like data integration and remote sensing to minimize farmer effort and enhance efficiency.
Your profile
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or in a similar role, with strong skills in strategic thinking, stakeholder management, prioritization, problem-solving, and effective communication.
- Proficient in defining, managing, and completing software development sprints in fast-paced environments.
- Relevant industry experience: Ideally, you would have experience in one of these areas: farming/farmers, the food industry, or scope-3/carbon accounting.
- Strategic thinking and strong prioritization: to drive the future of our footprinting offering across different commodities, markets, and evolving regulatory requirements.
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to convey complex technical concepts to business leaders, clients, and cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and shared understanding.
- Strong Communication Skills: Proven ability to work across teams and align stakeholders on goals and methodologies.
- English language is a must, good German would be beneficial, as most of our clients and farmers are currently located in Germany.
