Product Owner (m/f/d) Secure Data Exchange in an established software company

Responsibilities
As Product Owner, you'll lead the transformation of two legacy products into a powerful solution for secure file exchange and keyless email communication. This product isn't just about keeping our current customers happy - it's about opening doors to new markets. Built on cutting-edge technology (container, microservices), this solution will be flexible, running in the cloud or on-premises.
Your role? Steer the development of this product, balancing user feature requests with the big picture of our business strategy.

• Own the product vision, define the services and features of the product
• Break big concepts into epics, tasks, and user stories
• Define, structure, and plan the project roadmap
• Design mockups using our UX/UI design templates
• Manage the backlog, plan releases, refine tasks, and lead reviews
• Be the main point of contact between development and other teams, keeping the lines of communication open
• Research market trends and the competitive landscape to keep the product moving in the right direction

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field
• 1-2 years of proven experience as a Product Owner, or Product Manager in an agile software development context for a B2B company (bootcamp projects don't count)
• Must have experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and writing user stories
• At least 1 year of experience creating mock-ups using Adobe XD or Figma
• Solid experience working on Frontend UI/UX-focused products
• Strong interest in both technical and business topics
• Good communication skills in both English (at least C1) and German (at least B2)
