Your mission

As a Berlin/Germany or London/U.K. based Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Kaiko Systems, you will play a crucial role in driving our growth by identifying and engaging potential customers. Your goal is to generate high-quality leads, build relationships with key stakeholders, and set up meetings for our Account Executives. You will be at the forefront of our sales strategy, contributing directly to our expansion in the maritime industry.
Your skillset to navigate success:

  • Prospect and qualify leads: Identify potential customers through market research, outbound outreach, and inbound inquiries.
  • Engage and nurture prospects: Develop relationships with decision-makers via email, phone, and LinkedIn to create interest in Kaiko Systems.
  • Schedule product demos: Set up meetings between qualified prospects and our Account Executives.
  • Collaborate with the sales team: Work closely with Account Executives and Marketing to refine messaging and improve outreach strategies.
  • Track and optimize sales activities: Maintain accurate records in the CRM (e.g., HubSpot) and continuously analyze results to improve conversion rates.
  • Stay informed on industry trends: Understand customer pain points and industry dynamics to effectively position our SaaS solution.

Your profile

  • 2+ years of experience in sales development, preferably in a B2B-SaaS environment. Big plus if you have experience in the maritime industry
  • Excellent communication skills: Ability to craft compelling messaging and hold engaging conversations.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven: A proactive approach with a strong desire to succeed in a fast-paced startup.
  • Curious and eager to learn: Interest in the maritime industry and digital transformation.
  • Tech-savvy: Comfortable using sales tools like CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and automation platforms.
  • Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).
