As a Senior Backend Javascript Developer (d/f/m), you will be a part of our young and smart team of Javascript developers and work within a cross-functional team. Besides these corporations, you help our users to become and stay healthy by changing their behavior in a sustainable way.

Deine Verantwortlichkeiten

• Design and develop hybrid backend services by using one of the Javascript modern frameworks.
• Create new architectures for the backend services based on Javascript, GraphQL and Postgres DB.
• Migrate existing legacy code to the new microservices architecture.
• Optimize components for maximum performance across devices and browsers.
• Interact with our product and mobile development teams.
• Advise the product team and stakeholders on the technical feasibility of their ideas.
• Use GIT as a versioning control system.
• Set up, build and deploy processes via AWS.

Dein Profil

• You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science / Engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• You show 3+ years of experience in Javascript Development, including experiences with our backend development stack: Node js, Typescript, Express JS, Apollo Server, Type GQL, Type ORM, Prisma, Docker, TDD.
• You have experience with Queue and job processing Services like Kafka and experience with relational databases; including PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• You can create services around third-party APIs and use your experience with debugging, identifying, and solving reported issues.
• You have the knowledge and are familiar with caching strategies and tools, with security and data protection.
• You are passionate about clean code architecture, software design, and craftsmanship.
• You show high motivation, reliability, and an independent work style
• You are fluent in written and spoken English, and your German skills are a plus.
• Your passion for learning, continuous improvement, sharing, and working in a team environment and your high motivation and reliability are not only an asset but your daily work style.
• Nice to have: Working at startups, experience with React Native, knowledge, and familiarity with Microservices architecture.
