Description:

We collaborate closely with Hitachi Japan’s engineering teams, assisting them in setting up engineering teams that foster long-term partnerships and deliver high-quality product content.
Currently, we are looking for an experienced Lead Business Analyst to join our team, who will be responsible for developing the product vision and roadmap, as well as translating business requirements into actionable product insights.

Requirements
- Proficiency in written and spoken Japanese (equivalent to JLPT N1 or N2; official JLPT certification not required)
- Proficiency in written and spoken English (equivalent to B2 or higher)
- Hands-on experience as a Business Analyst
- Strong skills in analyzing and documenting requirements
- Ability to work independently, manage stakeholders effectively, and own the BA process workflow
- Excellent understanding of requirements decomposition (Epics, User stories, Tasks)
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills, especially when working with teams in Japan and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE)
- Openness to working with Japanese culture

- Ability to interface with both technical and business team
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the product vision and roadmap.
- Define epics and user stories based on business and customer requirements.
- Analyze various sources to uncover product insights and validate assumptions.
- Formulate and manage a prioritized product backlog for implementation teams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the development team on product-related questions and clarifications.
