Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior C++ Engineer to join their dynamic team in Berlin. As a Senior C++ Engineer, you will be at the forefront of developing and optimizing their core products. You will work on challenging projects that require cutting-edge C++ development, performance optimization, and software design.
Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain advanced C++ applications and components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Optimize code for performance, stability, and scalability.
• Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship, and share best practices with team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in C++ development.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Proficiency with modern C++ (C++11/14/17) and the Standard Template Library (STL).
• Experience with performance optimization and debugging in C++.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Fluency in English; German is a plus but not required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with GUI development (e.g., Qt, wxWidgets).
• Knowledge of multi-threaded and concurrent programming.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Previous experience in developing add-ins or plugins for Microsoft Office products.
