Senior Manager Strategy & Expansion
The Team
The Strategy & Expansion team works closely with our Global Management Board and Executive Leadership to drive high impact strategic priorities for the HelloFresh Group:
- Strategic initiatives: from proposal of both growth-driving and cost-oriented initiatives to execution coordination across markets
- Expansion: from exploration of new verticals to project managing execution of new market & brand launches (e.g., our continued Ready-to-Eat expansion into Europe), as well as M&A strategy and execution
The role
As a Senior Manager Strategy & Expansion, you will lead and manage business critical projects and work directly with our Senior Leadership (both at Berlin HQ and in our 18 local markets). You will develop strategic recommendations, assess new business opportunities and project manage their execution (e.g. geography and brand launches, new verticals), manage cross-country and cross-functional projects or support Functional or local market leaders. Your work will have an immediate impact on our strategic roadmap and mid-term ambition!

What You'll Do
- Lead strategic projects directly shaping HelloFresh’s medium and long-term strategy
- Assess new business opportunities and develop business proposals (e.g. for geography and brand launches, new verticals/products, and functional projects)
- Get hands-on experience in executing on strategic initiatives, collaborating with key stakeholders from across the business to realize key opportunities
- Collaborate closely with Senior Leadership, cross-functional teams and senior local market stakeholders to drive strategic priorities for the Group
- Partner with expert internal teams to conduct market research, gather consumer insights and provide recommendations to improve customer experience
- Support data driven decision making at most senior levels of HelloFresh by analyzing operational and financial data, extracting unique insights and developing business cases
- Dive deep into and gain experience across different functions of HelloFresh - Product Development, Marketing, Tech, Finance, etc.
What You'll Bring
- MSc or MBA with excellent grades from a top-tier university in Business, Economics or another related field of study
- 4-5 years of professional experience, ideally in top tier strategy consulting or a high-performance environment such as GrowthCo or Banking
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to develop complex business cases and to summarize quantitative concepts into a digestible format
- A proven track record that shows strong project management competencies
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate with different teams and to present in front of our senior leadership team
- High emotional intelligence to be able to collaborate alongside senior stakeholders with ease
- An entrepreneurial mindset - not hesitating to dive into the detail and also think about the big picture
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically, laterally and outside the box
- Flexibility to work on international assignments and travel if necessary
- Fluency in English
