The purpose of the Partner Marketing team is to position Zalando as the industry’s e-commerce partner of choice and empower partners to be successful on Zalando - through storytelling, enablement and exceptional, coherent partner experiences.
As a Senior Partner Marketing Manager (B2B) in the Partner Marketing team, you will be responsible for the strategic campaign planning and execution for Zalando’s key propositions such as fashion, beauty, sports, or lifestyle. To do so, you will work closely with internal stakeholders from our key categories, your marketing colleagues within the Global Partner Marketing team, Corporate Communications, Partner Services Communications and the consumer marketing team. You will ensure the flawless execution of strong and coherent B2B marketing campaigns across our various partner-facing touchpoints in line with our strategic priorities.
To succeed, you will need a commercial yet creative mindset, be a project management superstar, and be able to handle multiple stakeholders simultaneously with ease.
Please note that this position is open for 10 months, covering for a parental leaver.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)You will be responsible for deeply understanding our partner business and ensuring partners are inspired and enabled at all touchpoints to drive their engagement with Zalando.
Strategic mindset & planning: Based on the Zalando strategy and our business’ strategic priorities, you develop marketing campaigns to position Zalando as the e-comm partner of choice and empower partners to drive their business on Zalando. To do so, you gain a deep understanding of what our partners care about, using marketing analytics, trends, and market insights to inform your strategic planning. To be successful you apply the latest trends in marketing and (B2B) marketing best practices in order to develop innovative marketing campaigns.
Campaign management: After you’ve successfully built your strategic plan, you are responsible for executing powerful marketing campaigns for our key categories, such as Fashion, Beauty, Designer, or Sports. You will execute on a cohesive content & channel marketing plan (consisting of a mix of on- and offline channels) in line with the given budget.
Team player and stakeholder management superstar: You are able to build strong relationships with senior business leaders to decode what their business priorities mean for Partner Marketing. After translating this into a campaign plan, you drive execution by delegating clear priorities and targets to the relevant team and/or project members. Hereby you tap into your extensive project management skills.
Creative or event production experience (is a plus): You have organized and are capable of completely taking ownership of a creative production cycle, including the organization of workflows, schedules, and budgets for video and/or event productions supported by internal production teams or external agencies.

At least a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Business Administration/Communication or equivalent, as well as +5 years of experience in a similar role or a marketing agency.
Once onboard, you need to be able to understand the strategic decisions and challenges fashion brands and retailers face on marketplaces and the key levers for their commercial growth.
Zalando is a fast-paced organization with little hand-holding and a lot of ownership - if you’re up to the task. Hence, you need to work well on your own as well as in a team. You are eager to learn and feel responsible for the quality and contribution of your work.
You are a people person and an exceptional communicator in written and oral communications in English. German is a plus.
You are an excellent project manager and an effective stakeholder manager, able to convince colleagues as well as senior stakeholders.
You are able to manage tight timelines without breaking a sweat and without losing sight of the details.
You have an extensive working knowledge of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Forms, and Slides). Experience in content production from pitch to script to life is a plus
