GL has been developing standalone telematics solutions for vehicle connectivity, letting car drivers enjoy the newest automotive features, innovative safety navigation, and entertainment services. Multiple teams work for a well-recognized world-class customer for 6 years now. They are currently starting the development of next generation telematic unit.
Requirements
We are seeking a seasoned Senior ADAS Manager to lead and oversee advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) projects for Tier 1 automotive suppliers. This role requires deep expertise in ADAS technologies, including lidar, front cameras, and sensor fusion. The ideal candidate will excel in technical leadership, opportunity-driven strategy, and customer collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage ADAS projects, ensuring delivery excellence and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Tier 1 automotive suppliers to identify and drive business opportunities.
- Provide technical oversight on lidar, front camera, and other ADAS-related technologies.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams to deliver innovative and reliable solutions.
- Align project execution with customer goals, market trends, and company strategies.
- Support pre-sales and business development activities, including proposal creation and technical presentations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in ADAS development or management within the automotive industry.
- In-depth knowledge of lidar, front cameras, sensor fusion, and ADAS software architectures.
- Proven experience in leading projects for Tier 1 suppliers or OEMs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and business acumen to identify and capitalize on opportunities.
- Excellent communication, team leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in Agile methodologies and automotive standards (e.g., ISO 26262, ASPICE).
- Understanding of AI/ML applications in ADAS systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinate teamwork
- Handle communication with the team, client, and other subteams
- Train and coach on ceremonies: daily stand-ups, planning meetings, retrospective meetings, etc
- People management
- Processing of new opportunities
- Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any technical questions or challenges related to projects
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
- Handle project documentation is always up to date
