Your challenge
As a Senior Technical Product Owner at Hubject, you will be central in managing the complexity of maintaining clean interfaces, ensuring compatibility, and minimizing disruption for our partners.
Your first tasks will involve leading the transition between protocol frameworks, defining scalable solutions that bridge legacy and future-facing implementations, and ensuring that our backend services and APIs remain robust, observable, and ready for partner integration-without compromising system performance or integration velocity.
You’ll be joining a cross-functional product development team of 6 and will report directly to the Head of Product Development.

Your Tasks
- Turn abstract specs and partner needs into sharp, dev-ready stories.
- Craft APIs that don’t just work-they scale, handle chaos, and feel elegant.
- Partner up with engineers to build systems that survive real-world traffic, edge cases, and timezones.
- Keep a pulse on production with Grafana, Kibana & co-spot issues before they become fires.
- Guide the evolution from one protocol world to another-think OCPI, OICP, and the complexity of e-roaming.
- Lead with clarity in planning, grooming, and shipping-no micromanaging, just momentum.
- Own the backend and API roadmap-shaping the foundation for scalable, cross-network e-mobility solutions.
Your Profile
- You’ve done this before: tech product ownership in platform/API-heavy environments.
- APIs are your native language-clean API design, smart versioning, solid DX.
- You think in edge cases-timeouts, retries, race conditions? All part of the plan.
- You get a kick out of making industry protocols like OCPI or OICP practical and scalable.
- You work shoulder-to-shoulder with engineers and architects, not over their heads.
- You’ve tamed migrations and multi-version beasts-especially in complex e-mobility or partner ecosystems.
- Logs and metrics are your compass-you follow the data, not just opinions.
