What part will you play?
As a member of an agile and cross-functional team, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
You will contribute to the ongoing maintenance and updates of the operating system for our protective devices in energy networks
Furthermore, you will make adjustments to the bootloader and kernel (Linux, RTOS) and port them to our ARM-based hardware platforms
You will be involved in the design, development, and testing of new and existing Linux drivers
Additionally, you will diagnose and resolve operating system and hardware-related field issues
What you need to make real what matters.
The base of your profile is a completed master's degree in computer science, technical computer science, or a comparable qualification
In addition, you have several years of experience in scripting languages such as Python and Bash scripting
You possess solid knowledge in some of the following areas and you are interested in expanding your expertise in other fields:
Operating Systems: Embedded Linux and/or Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
Adaptation of kernel drivers
Development in the field of embedded systems with real-time requirements
Bootloader
Git and DevOps-based software development is is familiar to you
You program confidently in C/C++ and are familiar with modern, professional software systems.
A structured, solution-oriented, and goal-oriented approach and work methodology characterizes you
You communicate fluently in both German and English
