Sustainability & ESG drives and coordinates Raisin’s group-wide sustainability efforts. The team is part of the Finance department and reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Sustainability & ESG is responsible for:
- Driving the development and implementation of Raisin’s sustainability strategy, governance, and reporting.
- Aligning sustainability initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Monitoring and communicating sustainability performance, including key ESG metrics.
- Overseeing materiality assessments, carbon accounting, and climate strategy.
- Managing ESG ratings, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory compliance.
- Embedding sustainability across departments and processes while providing guidance on related tasks and functions.
Your Responsibilities
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sustainability Manager to coordinate and advance our sustainability efforts. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving impactful initiatives that align with our business goals, meet regulatory requirements, and contribute to a more sustainable future.
- Development and implementation of a comprehensive sustainability strategy for the Raisin Group.
- Supporting executive management in setting and achieving sustainability targets as well as tracking KPIs and measures to meet these objectives.
- Responsibility for the implementation and management of sustainability reporting in compliance with the legal requirements of CSRD/ESRS and the EU Taxonomy.
- Close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Promoting awareness and engagement among employees on sustainability topics, for example through training sessions and awareness-raising initiatives.
Your Profile
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in sustainability, ESG, financial reporting, or a related field, preferably within the tech or finance industry.
- Good knowledge of global sustainability frameworks, reporting standards, and regulations.
Key Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage diverse stakeholders.
- Curiosity and a passion to drive sustainability in a corporate setting.
- Strong analytical skills, with expertise in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Project management and organizational talent.
- Experience with financial and/or sustainability reporting.
- Familiarity with EU sustainability regulation, particularly related to Sustainable Finance.
- Fluent English skills, both written and spoken. Fluent German is a plus.
