THE ROLE AND THE TEAM
As part of the Workplace Facility & Portfolio Management team, we are dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of Zalando’s office locations and Outlet Stores. Our responsibilities include providing expert security consulting and awareness initiatives, offering guidance on security construction projects, and developing and maintaining security standards. We manage access control to ensure secure and efficient operations, address loss prevention and theft mitigation, and support event security requests to guarantee smooth and safe experiences. WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)
Create and implement security plans for buildings and facilities, including systems for access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection
Manage security system projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
Integrate physical security systems (such as alarms, CCTV, and access control) into broader infrastructure and local operations center
Regularly review and update security measures and technical standards to keep them up-to-date and effective against evolving threats
Manage security system vendors and oversee installations to ensure they meet the highest quality standards
WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF
Good knowledge of building complex security systems (e.g. access control, CCTV, intrusion alarm)
Experience in dealing with relevant security technology and software (e.g. access control, CCTV, intrusion alarm, building management systems))
Knowledge in the area of planning, installation and administration of alarm systems / video systems
Knowledge of relevant technical standards and guidelines
Experience in project planning, execution as well as technical processes and documentation
Working knowledge of enterprise IT infrastructure and Google Workspace
Enthusiasm for technology and networked solutions
German and English skills
